The Shepardville Story
Since 1991 Shepardville Construction has been providing the North East region with superior turn-key interior finish carpentry. We handle projects throughout New England and Long Island, New York, and Northern New Jersey.
Our services include furnishing and installing custom millwork, standing and running trims, prefabricated doors, frames, and hardware, and furnishing and installing kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, vanities, closet shelving, and other specialties.
Shepardville Construction’s philosophy is to consistently provide our customers with the highest level of service and care. We have a complete estimating staff and 5 Project Managers to ensure projects are well organized and efficient.
We provide an on-site Foreman for every project to handle all day-to-day communication and coordination, and the majority of our on-site tradespeople are employees.
Shepardville Construction Corp. was incorporated in September 1991 by John Adams and acquired AW Construction of Wolcott, CT in 2005. Later that same year, Universal Forest Products acquired Shepardville Construction, and Shepardville Construction LLC was formed as a subsidiary of UFP Construction.
We are currently based in Plainville, MA, and Naugatuck, CT, with approximately 50 employees. We do $20M in sales annually, and our projects have included Colleges and Universities, Senior and Assisted Living Projects, Multi-Family Buildings, and Custom Millwork projects.
Shepardville Construction is a Member of Associated Builders and Contractors, Long Island Builders Institute, and the National Association of Home Builders.

We deliver a quality product and in order to do that effectively, the vast majority of our projects utilize in-house tradespeople. We employ very few sub-contractors for consistency and reliability.
